GOD GLORIFYING

The church exists to make known the glory of God (Ephesians 3:10-11). We glorify God by remembering His attributes, worshipping Him for who He is, and teaching others about his infinite worth. We also glorify God by enjoying and delighting in Him, especially in mundaneness (Colossians 3:17) and trials (James 1:2-4), as difficult circumstances give us opportunity to demonstrate that God is our supreme treasure. Glorifying God is the chief end of man and the singular purpose of the church.

COMPASSIONATE

We will glorify God by joyfully demonstrating the compassionate love of God to hurting people. When Moses asked God to show him his glory, God responded “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion” (Exodus 33:19). Recognizing the compassionate nature of God compelled Christ to die for us while we were still sinners, we will generously extend God’s compassion to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of a hurting world.

CHANGE

We glorify God by facilitating the life change in individuals. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).  We believe the ultimate goal of all missions and ministry is for more people to worship God. We will glorify God through big dreams and wise use of resources to bear as much God-glorifying change as possible.
